Full Moon Howl!!!!!!

Last night around 4:45 as I was driving home, I noticed the beautiful sunset to the West.  Then I noticed the beautiful moonrise to the East.  I don't often see the sun and the moon in the sky simultaneously.  It made for a beautiful dusk.  The sky was pink and the moon was full and directly above the Wasatch range.  I immediately thought this had to make a great photo so I headed to the Timpanogos temple.  I only had my little powershot camera with me, so my equipment was not great, but my experience and knowledge of photography was even worse!  I don't know what I am doing.  I wish I did.  It was truly a beautiful opportunity with the moon directly over the temple, lighting Mt. Timpanogos and the temple that carries it's name.  There were also amazing shots to be had from that view of the orange and pink sunset with Utah lake reflecting those colors.  If only I knew what I was doing!  As I was leaving, I noticed about four professional photographers with their cases and bags in tow running to get the shot I had predicted would be a great one.  Evidently I think like a professional photographer, I just lack execution!  It is amazing how much bigger the moon appears with the naked eye than it does captured in a photo.
