I Think I Must Be Losing My Mind!!!!

"They're Coming To Take Me Away!"
by: Dr. Demento

They're coming to take me away, ha-haaa!!
They're coming to take me away, ho-ho, hee-hee, ha-haaa
To the funny farm. Where life is beautiful all the time and I'll be
happy to see those nice young men in their clean white coats and
they're
coming to take me away, ha-haaa!!!!!

They're coming to take me away, ha-haaa,
They're coming to take me away, ho-ho, hee-hee, ha-haaa.
To the happy home. With trees and flowers and chirping birds
and basket
weavers who sit and smile and twiddle their thumbs and
toes and they're
coming to take me away, ha-haaa!!!

Lately I think I must be losing my mind! Today, I had lunch which was provided at work. After lunch, I hopped in the Jeep and headed toward Highland to the Smith's to get a cake for a co-worker's birthday. I walked in, perused the lunch counter, decided I was not hungry and decided to leave empty handed! DURH! I already had lunch! I was not there to eat, I was there to get a cake! I drove back to the office, appreciative for the opportunity to enjoy the nice weather in my topless Jeep. It was not until about thirty minutes later that I realized what an idiot I was and that I had entirely forgotten why I left in the first place! Luckily, I was able to get someone else to help me out and pick up a cake. Seriously, I think I must be losing my mind! I don't know, but it seems like I have been less alert ever since I got off of my eating and exercising regiment. I really need to get my head back into the game of life! Either that or file for social security due to mental illness!

You Tube Fun!

This next video is more of an interesting story than anything else. This is footage of a prison in Cebu of the Philippines that implemented choreographed synchronized dancing as a yard activity. The program has been a great success apparently. This is a video made in honor of the late Jacko. And the answer to your soon to be question...yes, that woman is a man!

Poor Financial Planning by Q!

Economics by Q!  When we were considering moving, we decided to have a garage sale.  The plan was to get rid of some things we didn't want that were a little older and then use the money we made selling those items to buy their newer replacements.  A responsible idea, it may seem.  Well, we made $188 at our garage sale.  We sold a couch, a chair, an ottoman, a grill and a patio table with four chairs.  We then promptly went and spent $399 on a new BBQ grill, $1799 on a new couch and loveseat and $799 on some new patio furniture.  My "freakonomics" put us in the hole roughly $2800 beyond what we made at our garage sale!!!  I am an idiot!  I don't regret it though.  We did shop around and got great deals on everything we wanted and had enough money left over to buy Leah a swimming pool now that Summer has finally decided to arrive.

This is Randy T.  He is a great friend and neighbor.  His dog's name is "Little Jerry Seinfeld".  He stopped by last night to chat in the backyard for a bit.  He is leaving in about an hour to serve our country overseas.  I know he reads the blog, so I will say, "Be safe and return quickly, friend".  His comments will likely include some Michigan noise.

"This is the shortest lazy river ride ever!"
She is a natural in the water, much like Caitlin.

Her hair is finally long enough to do two pigtails.  She looks like Flick or an Alien with antennae.
This is my buddy, Carson.  He is a cool little dude!  He was hanging out a bit while I mowed the lawn.  "Hey Neighbor!"

Just Jeepin' with Joe!

Sarah says, "Hey, Hon!  Let's go Jeepn' with Joe!"
Other than a few spots when it got bumpy, this is what Leah did.  During those bumpy spots, Sarah sat in the back with Leah to help brace her little head.
