One of the few things there are to do in Wisconsin, is to go visit Lambeau Field in Green Bay. This is quite the unique arena with loads of history. We debated going to see the place and possibly watching The Green Bay Packers practice, but changed our mind when we learned that they were out of town for a game against the Denver Broncos on Friday. Well, with nothing to do in Wisconsin, we again changed our minds and decided we would visit The House that Vince Built.

I wish we had decided to go all along. A friend we both work with, Casey Poppinga, has a brother that plays for the Packers. We could have possibly annoyed our way into a personal tour! None the less, we visited the Packers Pro Shop and took a tour of the stadium and amenities. What a neat place, filled with history. Not only the history of their only team; the Packers were a very important part of the early history of the National Football League (NFL).

I have never been a huge fan of the Pack, but as a fan of football, I truly appreciate and value the history of Curly Lambeau, Vince Lombardi and the Green Bay Packers. A friend of ours is a HUGE Packers fan, so it didn't seem right to just drive past the stadium and take a picture. I am happy we stopped and explored the opportunity. It was fun to learn about Packer history.
