April Is Leah's Month Part Two

Friday the 17th of April, our adoption of Leah was finalized on earth and in the state of Utah in the 4th District Court of Utah.  On the 25th of April she was sealed to us for time and all eternity.  What an amazing experience this was.
The weekend surrounded us with friends and family from Utah as well as some who traveled from California and Colorado.  Mum, DOD, Scott, Cynthia, Lisa, Tim, Susan and Bill traveled quite the distance.  We appreciated their sacrifice to be with us this special day.

Exiting the temple after the sealing.  There were so many people and cameras with flashes that I felt like a celebrity giving a speech at a press conference.
I am the luckiest dude around

At the end of this day, a friend, Kurt, texted to me, "Marque, you truly are a blessed man".  This is quite possibly the most true statement ever made.

Scott and Cynthia were such a huge help this weekend.  I felt guilty that they might feel more like hired help than family with regards to how much they were put to work.  (Aren't you proud of me Scott?  I didn't even mention a pending marriage or anything here?!)

We had a great, but delayed, luncheon afterwards.  Like an idiot, I "lost" my keys which caused a domino effect of several inconvenient events.  None the less, we had a good friend, Kurt, with the help of our family that managed without us until we arrived.
We had great island food from Bamboo Hut; rice, noodles, Kahlua pork, Oh-no Chicken and Guava Cream Cake.

After the day was over, we relaxed and prepared food for the following day
Thanks Mum, Amy and Mom for your help with Sunday's snacks.
Again,  Thanks Scott and Cynthia for your help too!

We missed Caitlin at the temple and luncheon which was devastating to her and us.  We did get to visit with her at her home which is always a good time.
What a special day for everyone.  I am so happy that Leah is ours forever.  She literally is such an angel to me.  She was so cute in her white gown as she was brought to us in the temple.  She is so loved by everyone and truly has an angelic spirit which is felt by everyone.
