Growing up in Southern California, I never knew what it was like to have a snow day. Having ended my mission to Beatiful British Columbia in Quesnel, I have never seen the purpose of a snow day. This morning we got a call from the Bishopric announcing a snow day! I was already planning on staying home due to being sick, but it was fun watching all the men and young men out and about shoveling walks and drives for their neighbors. We received about 14" of wet and heavy snow. Not the fun type to shovel. Thank you, neighbors for being so kind to us!
